History of our trademark
European tradition and flair for American families.
Founded in Vicenza, Italy, in 1963 by Liviano Tomasi, Inglesina owes its name to its first product, the historic London, a luxurious pram inspired by the traditional infant carriages of the English Court. Hence, from Inglesi—the Italian translation of English—Inglesina was born.
Since the 1960s, it has become clear that the requirements and demands of parents throughout the world have changed profoundly. Inglesina has adapted to these changes with an array of safe, comfortable and flexible products and accessories that factor in the complex, fast-paced nature of the modern day. What has not changed is our unwavering commitment to family and our trademark Italian flair.
The concept of the family, at the heart of Inglesina and our founders’ philosophy, is fully represented by the products of the new 2011 collection. The Classica represents timeless elegance. The Zippy System personifies practicality and technical excellence. The Trip is for parents on the go who need sleek, easy-to-use products that do not compromise safety and comfort.
Simply put, no other brand combines this level of tradition, innovation and utility, all with a style that is unmistakable.
This is Inglesina.
